Simran grew up in Sydney before moving to Adelaide to complete her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Adelaide in 2012
She has worked in a diverse range of health care settings including Anaesthetics, Pain Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry and Neurosurgery.
She has been involved in teaching medical students and junior doctors relevant medical and clinical skills. After leaving the hospital system, she worked at one of South Australia’s most prominent Orthopaedic Centres before honing her skills in Occupational Medicine in a large Occupational Health Practice.
Simran is currently training to be an Occupational Physician and focusses on keeping up to date with current best practice and return to work guidelines. She is passionate about communication and building rapport with patients and all stakeholders as part of a team to achieve the best return to work outcome.
Simran is working at Rose Park on Mondays and Wednesdays and at Salisbury on Tuesdays.
Simran speaks Hindi and Punjab.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and gardening.
